Blade  and Blitz  Packages


One  of the most popular Indoor models that we have stocked ever since we have sold EPP models is the Freeair Blade. This is one of the first EPP models made following the introduction of shockflyer types and even after 5 years it takes a lot of beating. Now with the packages listed below its a great way to get into indoor flying. The Blitz is the Biplane version of the Blade and has the advantage of low wing loading and thus can be flown at very low speeds. Both planes can be flown outdoors on windless days. The planes are a great first 3d planes but not for total beginners. We also recommend that you use the upgrade kit that replaces the aluminum stiffeners and rods with carbon and quick links  that makes the model a lot simpler to build.  As with all indoor models there are many choices in the way the model is powered and this can determine the character of the finished model.  Below are the choices.
